Citizens Financial Corporation (the “Company”) annual reports to shareholders are
available under DOCUMENTS. Such annual reports include audited consolidated financial
statements of the Company and its subsidiaries prepared on the basis of accounting
principles generally accepted in the United States (“GAAP”).
Prior to November 14, 2007, the Company filed financial and other required
reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”).

Life Insurance Subsidiaries
Citizens Security Life Insurance Company (“Citizens Security”) and United Liberty Life
Insurance Company (“United Liberty”) are each required to file quarterly and annual
financial statements with the Kentucky Office of Insurance and other regulatory agencies
that have been prepared in conformity with statutory accounting practices (“SAP”). SAP
differs in certain significant respects from GAAP. An overview of the material differences
